The easiest and quickest way to switch off an iPhone 15 Pro Max or Pro smartphone is to use the physical buttons on the device itself. Here are which buttons you need to use and how to use them to turn your phone off.
- Press theSide button on the right side of your iPhone and eitherVolume button on the left side for a couple of seconds.
Only hold down one of theVolume buttons,Up orDown . Don’t press both. - APower switch should appear at the top of the screen labeledslide to power off .
- Drag thePower icon from the left all the way to the right. Your iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max should turn off.
How to Power Off an iPhone 15 Pro Using the Settings App

To leave your iPhone 15 Pro on so that it can receive phone calls, messages, and notifications, and you just want the screen to turn off, press theSide button once. Press theSide button or tap the screen to wake it up.
