How to Set Up Two Factor Authentication on Twitch

2FA on Twitch is easy to configure, you just have to know where to look. Here’s how to add extra security to your account, keeping hackers at bay:

Open Twitch on your computer to follow along with these instructions.

1. Open the Twitch website and log in to your account.
   
2. Select yourprofile picture at the top right of the page.
3. ClickSettings .

How to Use Your Twitch Account With Two Factor Authentication

Once you’ve set 2FA on Twitch, you’ll need to log in slightly differently than before. Here’s what to expect:

1. Log in to Twitch as you would normally.
2. Open the authenticator app you used to set up two-factor authentication, findTwitch in the list, and note the 2FA code next to it.
